My view of life
The world is an even nicer and better place if people take the time to listen better to their heart, take their interests and talents seriously and will do what which feels good. With care for themselves, others and the world. With at least a touch of humor, self-knowledge, openness and willingness to learn.
If you know what you are (not) good at, where your heart will (not) beat faster from and how to make choices that are based on that, it will lead to greater life enjoyment, satisfaction, peace and productivity.
By my way of living and working I want to contribute to this view as much as possible.
My letting-go adventure to Ireland
I decided to follow my heart and combine a few dormant desires. I quit my rent, got rid of loads of stuff and went to Ireland to do some voluntary projects for room and board. My new adventure started the beginning of August 2016.
I started as a volunteer at the beautiful and sereen Dzogchen Beara, a Buddhist meditation centre in the middle of nowhere. The plan was to be there for at least 2 months, maybe three. I really enjoyed it and they liked me being there, so I ended up staying there until halfway January 2017.
After a short visit to The Netherlands I went to Ireland again, worked as a volunteer at an eco accommodation farm. Then I went back to Dzogchen Beara, my adventure there wasn’t over.
I returned back in the Netherlands just a few days before 2018 started.
